Senior Leaders Exploring Change

Why this stage matters

Choosing to implement a new ERP or financial system is one of the most significant decisions a leadership team can make. It’s costly, complex, and will impact every corner of the organisation.

Yet too often, these decisions are rushed, driven by vendor pressure, board expectations, or frustration with cumbersome/outdated systems. The result? Projects that overrun, adoption that stalls, and benefits that never fully land.

How I help

I provide senior leaders CFOs, Finance Directors, and project sponsors with a safe, structured space to step back, test assumptions, and make better informed choices before signing off on change.

Through change adoption coaching, I guide you to explore:

Why this change now?

Clarifying the real drivers behind the project, sustained growth, compliance, cost efficiency, scalability.

What’s breaking down in current processes?

Identifying inefficiencies, duplication, or risks in how finance and operations currently run.

What are the risks?

Understanding both the financial and human impact of moving (or not moving) to a new system.

Who will be affected?

Considering how managers, teams, and end-users will experience the transition.

This isn’t about me telling you what to do. It’s about creating the conditions for clear thinking, surfacing blind spots, and aligning your leadership team before a major commitment.

Why leaders work with me

Unbiased perspective: I’m independent of vendors and technology providers, so I bring no agenda other than helping you make the right call.

Human-focused lens: I don’t just look at systems and numbers, I help you see how people will engage with, resist, or embrace the change process.

Experience of adoption pitfalls: I’ve seen where projects stumble, and I help you avoid those common traps before they cost time and money.

The outcome

By the end of this stage, you’ll have:

A clearer business case, grounded in both process and people realities.

Confidence that the decision you’re making is the right one.

A roadmap of risks, opportunities, and next steps.

A clear view on your change management strategy.

Strategic System Implementation

If you’re considering a new ERP or finance system, don’t go it alone. Let’s explore your options together so you can commit with clarity and confidence.

Building Confidence in Change

Process Mapping & Workflow Clarity

I work closely with senior leaders to map business processes from start to finish, revealing where inefficiencies, bottlenecks, or outdated practices are holding teams back. By streamlining workflows before introducing new technology, we make sure you’re not carrying old problems into a new system.

What this means for you:

  • Clear visibility of how your business really operates day to day.

  • Confidence in selecting software that supports your goals and ways of working.

  • Smoother adoption and less resistance from teams, because the system fits their workflows.

  • Reduced duplication, faster decision making, and measurable savings in time and cost.

With the right foundations in place, change becomes less about disruption and more about opportunity.

Change Readiness Coaching

Before committing to a major software investment, it’s vital to step back and ask the right questions. My six-session coaching programme is designed to support senior leaders during the investigation phase of change, ensuring every decision is grounded in clarity and foresight.

Across our sessions, we’ll explore:

  • Why change? – uncovering the true drivers behind the push for new systems.

  • Current challenges – identifying whether issues stem from outdated processes, bottlenecks, or the tools themselves.

  • Process health-check – evaluating whether workflows need streamlining before adding new technology.

  • Options on the table – examining the software solutions being considered and how they align with your business needs.

  • Risk & resource reality check – assessing potential risks, realistic timelines, and the capacity of your teams.

  • Defining success – clarifying the measurable outcomes you want, and whether these are achievable.

Why this matters:
With coaching during this phase, leaders gain structured space to think, challenge assumptions, and test ideas before making costly commitments. The result is greater confidence in decision-making, stronger alignment across leadership, and a higher chance of successful adoption when change moves forward.

Collaborative Change Package

This package combines in depth process mapping with inclusive coaching to create a strong, united foundation for change. It’s designed to support senior leaders and their teams, ensuring decisions are collaborative, well-informed, and future-proofed.

What’s included:

  • Comprehensive Process Mapping & Review – I’ll work closely with teams to map workflows end-to-end, highlighting where bottlenecks, duplication, or gaps exist. I’ll then provide a short, constructive review document that frames these insights in a positive way focusing on opportunities to streamline and strengthen processes rather than pointing out faults. This creates a shared guide for decision making without fuelling conflict between departments.

  • 6 x Group Coaching Sessions – Facilitated sessions (for up to 5 people) designed to bring leaders and team members together in constructive discussion. We’ll work through challenges, risks, timelines, and desired outcomes while making sure each perspective is included. These sessions create alignment, encourage collaboration, and build buy-in before any final decisions are made.

Why it works:

  • Leaders gain clarity and a constructive roadmap, avoiding costly missteps.

  • Teams feel heard and engaged, which reduces resistance and builds ownership.

  • Processes are streamlined before technology is introduced, so new systems solve problems rather than replicate them.

  • Cross-department collaboration means everyone moves forward with a shared vision and commitment.

The result? A smoother, more collaborative change journey one where leaders feel confident, teams feel included, and new systems deliver real business benefits.
